Firstly, let me get this out the way, I don't have a history of design or arts, in fact, I have a history of anxieties and panic attacks which is so fun, what I run on then, is imagination and vivid thinking. A dreamer you can say, yes, but a dreamer paired with serious actions results in some mad shi*. So why the F do I do what I do? There is something comforting about the creative process, just the feeling of taking my mind into those spaces where I need to think of a creation, putting those thoughts out into the world feels like a dose of something strong, and therein I found my escape being enthralled in the designing of shoes. So yes, designing feels like a drug, and I enjoy having this injected deep inside me every day, I need it. Day to day therefore feels like an intense ongoing war, each day filled with an extreme focus and need to perform, with no clear definition of ‘victory'. Releasing my shoes into the world means killing off a part of myself and letting it free, and not knowing what will grow in its place, most often then not it gives room for something crazier. What's my goal? Keep pushing the boundaries of what shoes can look like, the confidence they make you feel, the happiness they bring you, the feeling you get when you see them, the emotions they stir, that's what it's all about, if you feel good wearing them, and it makes you feel more proud of who you are, or you just see them and even just visually they make you feel something intense, then my goal is achieved. The fact so many of you f*** with us is crazy, and I shall keep performing for you all. As Koi becomes more successful, down the line I would like to buy a huge warehouse and convert it into a hamster city (guinea pigs and rabbits included), which can house over a million hamsters, and everyone can visit and be amongst them, young, elderly, families, people on their own. Why hamsters you ask? My best friend was a hamster, in my darkest moments that relationship was a saving grace for me, and I made a promise to my best friend Goober I will make this a reality, and it will be called Goober Land, and everyone will be invited. Other then that I like old Nokias (I collect retro phones), old Cartoon Network shows (Samurai Jack was the shi*!) birds, classic cars (JDM), anything 90's or 00's, some paintings or anything artsy, and just weird shi*, weird people, people who are just mad f***ers really, and Kev, Heinz Beanz, and I like saying naughty words like poo.
